The first winner of Mr Gay UK stabbed a man to death, before cutting him up, marinating his flesh and eating it, a court has been told.
On April 23, 36-year-old Anthony Morley walked into a take-away shop in Leeds, in a blood stained dressing gown telling staff, ‘someone tried to rape me, so that’s why I killed him. What have I done? I know what I’ve done is wrong.’
It’s alleged Morley, who works as a chef, invited long time acquaintance 33-year-old Damian Oldfield over for dinner.
The court has been told Morley, who was troubled by his sexuality, had attacked Mr Oldfield, cutting his throat and stabbing him repeatedly, after sexual activity allegedly took place.
Mr Oldfield’s body was found in the bedroom – pieces of cooked human flesh were found on the chopping board in the kitchen, and more were found chewed in a bin bag.
Morley denies murdering Mr Oldfield – upon his arrest he told police someone had tried to rape him.
The trial continues.
