Norman to take on Ryder Cup duo in Perth

Australian legend Greg Norman and English stars Lee Westwood and Paul Casey will headline the 2009 Johnnie Walker Classic in Perth next February.

Westwood and Casey – both members of Europe’s Ryder Cup team – have confirmed they will play at the tournament today.

Westwood is keen to take on ‘The Shark’ for the first time in Australia since beating Norman in a fourth play-off hole to win the 1997 Australian Open.

"I'm already looking forward to playing in Perth and to the Australian sunshine which will be a welcome change from the European winter," Westwood told reporters.

"It will also be a tremendous challenge to come up against Greg again on his home soil especially after the form he showed at this year's Open Championship."
