An Ayce in the Bulldogs pack
Ayce Cordy (Geelong Falcons) has gone to the Western Bulldogs for their first round draft pick (14) under the father-son rule.
Bulldogs coach Rodney Eade viewed the decision as a no-brainer and sees Cordy as a potential 200-game player for the club.

Richmond chase Eagles big-man Seaby
The Tigers will work feverishly over the next few days to try and work out a deal to snare Mark Seaby from the West Coast.
Richmond are expected to offer up their second-round draft pick (26) as the basis for the deal, but the Eagles may want more for the 97-game veteran.
Blues Warnock chase stalls
Carlton and Fremantle are struggling to hammer out a deal to bring Dockers ruckman Robert Warnock to the Blues.
"We're still discussing that one," Blues football manager Stephen Icke told News Limited yesterday.
"It could go down to five to two (1.55pm on Friday)."
The Dockers are chasing Carlton's first round pick (6), but the Blues are only willing to offer up their second round pick (24) at this stage.
Everyone loves Lovett
Essendon speedster Andrew Lovett is in high demand, with up to eight clubs chasing his signature for season 2009.
The Bombers are yet to receive a formal offer, but there is no chance of a deal involving Sydney star Ryan O'Keefe.
Thompson trade progressing
Richmond and North Melbourne are keen to secure Port Adelaide midfielder Adam Thompson with a third round pick, but neither club is over the line.
Melbourne and Essendon both have third-round draft picks ahead of the Tigers and Kangaroos, and could sneak under their guard.
Unsettled Cats
Essendon, Fremantle and Melbourne are all reportedly chasing out-of-contract Geelong midfielder Brent Prismall, who asked to be traded after struggling to hold down a regular place in the team.
The Bombers are believed to be Prismall’s preferred club.
Cats full-forward Tom Lonergan could also leave the club. He is off-contract and currently negotiating a new deal.
Green to stay put...probably
Melbourne utility Brad Green looks set to remain with the Demons on a new three-year deal, despite interest from Sydney and Hawthorn.
Hawks leading the race for Ryan
Hawthorn are in a prime position to snare Ryan O’Keefe, who wants to return to Melbourne, with Carlton, Collingwood and Essendon all suggesting they could struggle to match Sydney’s asking price of a top-10 draft pick.
The Hawks plan to make contact with O'Keefe soon as negotiations progress.
Magpie murmurs
Rhyce Shaw is happy to be traded by Collingwood while Alan Didak is set to stay at the club unless there is a significant trade offer.
