Halle Berry has been named the Sexiest Woman Alive.

The 42-year-old actress – who gave birth to daughter Nahla Ariela, her first child with long-term partner Gabriel Aubry, in March – was given the honour by Esquire magazine in their November issue.

Halle, who posed in a lacy bra and see-through top in the magazine, said of the title: “I don't know exactly what it means, but being 42 and having just had a baby, I think I'll take it!

“Sexiness is a state of mind – a comfortable state of being. It's about loving yourself in your most unlovable moments. I share this title with every woman, because every woman is a nominee for it at any moment.”

Meanwhile, French Canadian model Gabriel revealed the couple are planning to extend their family in the near future.

When asked if he and Halle were planning to have more children, Gabriel
replied: “Yeah, we are working on that!

“I mean, look at Halle - she is unbelievable! She is the best mom that anybody could ask for - or wish for!”
