It was been one big party on Sydney’s Northern Beaches yesterday, as Manly fans turned out in force to cheer on their NRL heroes after Sunday's Grand Final win.
It all kicked off at the Corso with a parade through the streets, before the players rode on the back of golf carts and made their way to Brookvale Oval.
Manly veteran Steve Menzies admits he's still coming to terms with their Grand Final win.
“It was the greatest day of my career and I couldn’t have done it without you guys,” he told the Sea Eagles fans.
“We played our hearts out, and that trophy there is for all you guys, so thank you very much.”
Celebrations got a kick along yesterday with six of Manly's grand final stars named in the Australian squad for the upcoming World Cup.
Four of the six are uncapped at Test level with David Williams, Anthony Watmough, Josh Perry and Glenn Stewart all in line for their first green and gold jumper.
