Solomon to stay a Docker

9/10/2008 7:02:00 PM.  |
Fremantle utility Dean Solomon has signed a new one-year deal with the Dockers, scotching speculation he could head back to his original AFL club Essendon.

The 28-year-old has played 33 games with Fremantle over two seasons, after playing 158 games over nine seasons with the Bombers, including their 2000 premiership.

He missed the last seven rounds of this year's season through suspension and still has one game of his ban to serve at the start of next year.
