Australian selectors have called Sydney Roosters forward Anthony Tupou into the Kangaroos squad for the Rugby League World Cup.
The Sharks-bound forward will replace UK-bound former Storm hard man Michael Crocker, who today succumbed to a rib injury.
The late inclusion of Tupou is a blow to minnow nation Tonga, who hoped to have the representative star turn out for them after he missed selection in the original 24-man squad.
The Kangaroos will officially enter camp at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Coogee, on Saturday 18 October.
