10/10/2008 12:55:00 PM.  | AAP
At least 19 people have been killed and more than 50 injured when a bus carrying university students crashed in eastern Thailand, a police officer said.

"Initially, police suspect the bus driver fell asleep, as the bus just overturned," said a highway police officer in eastern Prachinburi province, where the accident happened.

Sixteen men and three women were killed in the accident 135 kilometres east of Bangkok, police said.
