Farren Ray leaves the Bulldogs kennel

10/10/2008 1:45:00 PM.  |
Saint Kilda have moved to bolster their midfield stocks, picking up Western Bulldogs midfielder Farren Ray in the third deal to be done in AFL trade week.

The Saints handed up their second round pick (No.34) to secure Ray's services.

Ray's deal was not unexpected, given the midfielder had flagged his desire to enter the national draft for next season after he was given limited game time by Bulldogs coach Rodney Eade in season 2008.

All trades must be finalised by 2pm today.
