Turkish military bombs Kurdish targets

11/10/2008 5:45:00 PM.  | AAP
Turkey's military says its warplanes and artillery units have bombed dozens of Kurdish targets in northern Iraq.

It says in a statement that the attack took place around midnight.

The offensive, announced today, is the latest of a series of intensified Turkish attacks against Kurdish people since last week's attack on a military unit on the border that killed 17 soldiers.
