Dressed For Success

20/08/2007 3:29:00 PM.  | Tim Brunero

Souths have tried everything else over the years so why not see if a few Armani suits, a touch of neuro-linguistic programming, and a new playing strip will make any difference?

Well at least that’s Russell Crowe’s logic in the third episode of the ABC’s ‘observational reality series’ South Side Story.

Russel Crowe, the man with no job at Souths, has set himself the task of redesigning the on field attire of the foundation NRL club armed with a new secret symbol, a black rabbit.

The fact he’s taking his inspiration from Monty Python seems to make no difference to Russel.  Who would dare to laugh at his final design anyway?  This is the guy who has played not only the leader of a neo-nazi gang but also a gladiator after all.

Episode three of South Side Story airs at 8pm on Tuesday the 21st of September.
