It has been confirmed that early 90's pop sensation New Kids On The Block are reforming.
The band's Web site, www.nkotb.com, which was defunct, is now active and running a countdown timing the bands reformation.
Although the website featured a preview of a piano-driven ballad, there has been no official confirmation that the band will be reforming to produce new material, or tour.
Gary Barlow of Take That has allegedly been commissioned to write songs for another New Kids album.
The boy band, which made legions of tweens swoon in the early '90s, selling more than 50 million albums, became a worldwide phenomenon before calling it quits in 1994.
Johnathan Knight went on to be a real estate agent, brother Jordan released several solo albums that went gold, Joe McIntyre also released solo albums, Danny Wood formed a Boston-based record label and Donnie Wahlberg followed in his brother Marks footsteps and became an actor.
