An Australian fashion magazine is under investigation after publishing pictures of a topless 16-year-old model.
Russh Australia hired Zippora Seven [right], along with fellow 16-year-old male model, Levi Clarke [not pictured], for a lavish fashion spread, which included pictures of Seven in a bath topless, with Clarke and four bottles of champagne.
The Classifications Act prohibits the depiction of nudity and sexual activity of people under 18.
Seven's Australian agent, Priscilla Leighton-Clark, has told News Ltd that the photo shoot had gone too far.
"It's wrong that our girl has appeared in a magazine exposing her breasts when she's so young," she said.
"I can't be on every shoot. Had I known it was to be a topless shoot, (Seven) would never have done it."
But Russh’s editor, Natalie Shukur, has defended the pictures, which she says were inspired by a classic Johnny Depp and Kate Moss spread.
"We believe Russh readers 'get it' in this narrative story," she told News Ltd.
"These are beautiful images of two young people in character."
