Hussey guides Knight Riders past Chargers in IPL

Solid batting from David Hussey and captain Sourav Ganguly gave Kolkata Knight Riders a 23-run win over the Deccan Chargers in the Indian premier League match here tonight.

Hussey struck an unbeaten 57 runs from just 29 deliveries and Ganguly 91 from 57 as Kolkata compiled 4-204 from their 20 overs.

The Chargers struggled after opener Adam Gilchrist fell for just 24 runs from 17 deliveries and they finished 7-181.

Ganguly again led by example with the ball, taking 2-25.

The Knight Riders sit mid-table after four wins from eight matches while the Chargers are second from bottom with two from nine.
