Corey Worthington’s hard-partying ways have got him in trouble with the boys in blue again after trying to con his way into a Gold Coast nightclub early this morning.
In an act of bravado bordering on stupidity given his national notoriety he tried to use a fake ID to get into popular Surfers Paradise nightclub Shooters, about 2.20am.
But the famously underage 17-year-old’s ploy didn’t fool bouncers who informed police. Worthington was issued with an on-the-spot fine.
Corey partied his way into the national spotlight in January after organising an out of control party at his suburban Melbourne home, which required riot police and a police helicopter to break up.
The bottle-blonde brat was only released from Channel Ten’s Big Brother compound on the weekend, bringing to an end a two week stint as a ‘houseguest’ on the show.
Virtually as soon as he left the compound Worthington was back in the headlines, after police were called to his Surfers Paradise hotel room on Sunday night.
While police found some damage to the room where Corey and his friends were partying no charges were laid. It is not clear if Worthington was responsible for the damage.
