In news sure to excite women across the country our hunkiest firefighters are once again stripping off for their annual calendar.

This year’s edition features a bevy of reality TV hot bods with The Biggest Loser’s Big Wal and this year’s Big Brother cult escapee David Tchappatt.

Funds from the cheap-as-chips calendar go to the burns unit at Westmead Hospital and the ‘Scar Wars’ program which treats burn scars in children.

Some of the money will also go to sending the Australian team to the World Fire fighting games held this year in Liverpool, England in August.

Punters can buy the calendar for $10 at coffee club stores, Jenny Craig or online at www.firefighterscalendar.com.au

The NSW Calender, which has been running for three years, is still dwarfed by its Queensland counterpart, which has been running for 15 years and will have raised over $600,000 by the year’s end.

The Queensland calendar is reportedly one of the biggest selling calendars in the world.

This year NSW firefighters hope to raise $50,000 for the burns unit.

The saucy calendar is being launched tonight at the Fire House Hotel, 86 Walker St North Sydney at 7pm. The $40 entry covers finger food and a copy of the calendar.
The public are welcome.
