A man will face court today after being arrested as part of a $200,000 cocaine bust.
Police say they have seized $100,000 worth of cocaine and $100,000 in cash after they yesterday swooped on an alleged drug deal in progress at a park in the Sydney inner-west suburb Enfield, arresting one man who was taken to Burwood Police Station for questioning.
Police say more than 100 grams of cocaine was seized during the arrest, which is in addition to a number of seizures of extremely high-grade cocaine in the past two months.
A BMW was also seized during the arrest and police will look at proceeding under assets of crime legislation.
Central Metropolitan Region Commander, Assistant Commissioner Catherine Burn, has commended the force for the breakthrough.
“As long as there are people out there supplying drugs at any level, then we will continue to run these types of operations to disrupt the supply network.”
