A South Coast mother says it's a miracle no one was hurt after a car hurtled off the road and smashed into a car parked outside the family's home.
The ute was driving on Mulda Road at Dapto when it hit the parked car which then flipped up and became lodged between the house and the neighbour's property.
The car only narrowly missed six young children.
Katherine Olafson has told Macquarie News if her car wasn't there the accident would have ended in tragedy.
“He was calling ‘Could somebody please just call an ambulance?’ which I already had.”
“The driver was wedged in the vehicle for about 45 minutes.”
“”He was taken straight away by ambulance to hospital,” she said.
“His passenger was extremely drunk so I can only assume that the driver was equally as intoxicated.”
