Keep Australia Beautiful week launched today

25/08/2008 11:11:00 AM.  | Amie Meehan
We are being urged to score points for the environment during Keep Australia Beautiful week.

With a focus on climate change and a need to protect our natural resources, we’re being asked to be extra vigilant this week.

We are told to convert our light to energy saver globes, recycle old mobile phones, and ensure all our rubbish makes it to the right garbage bin.

Keep Australia Beautiful ambassador, Roosters couch Brad Fittler, has today officially launched Keep Australia Beautiful week.

He has urged households and schools to register for the 100 point challenge, to keep Australia beautiful today, and for years to come.
