Jennifer Hawkins has officially marked a change in career direction - debuting her fashion label at Myer in Sydney today.
The TV presenter, model and former Miss Universe is looking to add a new feather to her burgeoning cap, with ‘Cozi by Jennifer Hawkins’.
Speaking today at the Myer store in Sydney’s CBD, Hawkins noted that swimwear was a natural first step for her fashion design career.
“I grew up on the beach, I’ve always been a beach girl," she said.
“So it’s the first thing that came to mind – it’s something that I’m very passionate about.
“I’m always in a bikini, one way or another, so I just wanted to make changes here and there.
Hawkins says she deliberately tried to incorporate bold colours into the range to create a summery feel compatible with the Australian swimming season.
The mid-ranged swimwear will range in price from $49.95 to $129.
