Radovan Karadzic refuses to enter genocide plea

30/08/2008 9:43:00 AM.  | Victoria Owens
Former Bosnian Serb leader Radovan Karadzic has made a defiant stand before the International War Crimes Tribunal in the Hague.

Karadzic is facing eleven charges including genocide and crimes against humanity.

But he's refused to enter a plea forcing the judge to make the decision for him.

“I will not plea in line with my stand-point with regard to this court,” said Karadzic.

The judge offered the plea of not guilty.

This man does not even deserve a trial. He should be taken out the back of the courthouse and shot. End of story.

Concerned Liberal you are either someone who has little knowledge of the facts associated with the conflict involving Karadzic or you are just a no capital punishment do gooder. I suppose you also believe that if Hitler had been caught he too deserved a trial and life imprisonment. Get real he is a pathological murderer and deserves nothing but a bullet. This action in no way brings us down to his level.

I find it interesting when people who claim to be better than murderers try to justify murder. I actually know quite a bit about this mans alleged perpetration of war crimes. And although i do believe in innocence until proven guilty - I do think he is flat out guilty, but i want a respected court to prove that. Once they do, by all means kill him - I have absolutly no problem whatsoever with that. We have laws for a reason, justice demands that we obey them even when its tough!
