As Morris Iemma and Michael Costa pack up and leave NSW parliament, Sydneysiders have prepared a special message for the departing duo.

Three enthusiastic protestors from Friends of the Earth Sydney have made a giant farewell card for former Nsw Premier Morris Iemma and dumped Treasurer Michael Costa, collecting personal messages for the pair from their not-so-admiring public.

The card was displayed outside Governor Macquarie Tower, with people invited to write a few words to Iemma and Costa.

"It filled up very quickly," One protestor said. "As you can see we're running out of space."

Unfortunately from the ousted power pair, there were only a sparse few sympathetic comments.
