Man charged after huge child porn seizure

17/09/2008 5:37:00 PM.  | Richard Maxton
Hundreds of child exploitation images have been seized from a home in the exclusive Sydney suburb of Bronte.

Police seized several computers containing hundreds of horrific child pornography images in a raid on a townhouse in Sydney's east early this morning, following a tip-off from Interpol.

A 37-year-old man was arrested at the scene and taken to Waverley police station, where he was questioned.

Police have now charged him with possessing child pornography.

He has been granted conditional bail, meaning he will be free until his next court appearance in October.
