A man facing a manslaughter charge is also to appear in court on child pornography charges.
Police laid the charges as part of investigations into the death of NSW man while using a ride-on lawnmower.
Ongoing investigations by police into the alleged killing of the man on his semi-rural property at Dural, north-west of Sydney, apparently uncovered child porn images and videos.
A 67-year-old man was killed on his semi-rural property at Dural on May 19.
Police initially thought the man died when his lawnmower exploded, but later said the mower was not linked to the blast.
On July 10, detectives raided the home of a 26-year-old Arcadia man, who was later charged with three offences, including manslaughter and negligently handling explosives.
During that raid officers seized four computer hard drives and a laptop computer which have apparently since been found to contain "a large number of explicit electronic video and image files," police said in a statement.
The same man has today been charged with three counts of possessing child pornography, and one count of producing child pornography.
He has been refused bail and is due to appear in Hornsby Local Court tomorrow.
