25/09/2008 10:35:00 AM.  | Emily Smith
A man has been charged over numerous sexual assaults dating back more than 30 years on children as young as five.

It’s alleged the offences were carried out in the Sydney suburbs of Redfern and Marrickville, in 1975 and 76.

After a lengthy police investigation, a 48-year-old man has been arrested at Taree, on the NSW mid-north coast.

His alleged victims are a five-year-old girl, and two boys aged eight and 10.

He’ll face court next month on several charges, including committing and act of indecency on a person under the age of 16.
