You've seen the ad. The one where women get super excited about getting a bra fitted, their "mono-boob", and "east-west" breasts a thing of the past.
The Big Berlei Bus pulled into Sydney today to give women a free fitting and a free breakfast, and while there was no joyous screaming, whistling and dancing, there was a quiet excitement as the women exited the bus.
One beaming woman in her 60s said it was the first time she had been fitted with a bra, and was surprised how big a difference it made.
Another was a cup size larger than she thought: "The rest of the week is going to be fantastic now for me!"
I boarded the Berlei Bus, having not been fitted properly for years and not really giving it a second thought.
The fitter took my measurements and it turns out I am one of the two in three women wearing the wrong size.
Well, not any more.
Some are too shy to get fitted - while others don't get re-fitted after they go through body changes, like having a baby.
But I heartily recommend getting your girls in order – you’ll feel like a new woman.
