Disgraced former NRL star Todd Carney is in trouble again, this time over allegations he smashed a shop window over the weekend.
Carney was arrested at a Goulburn pub on Saturday night, but was released pending further inquiries.
Earlier that day a window had been smashed in at a mobile phone shop. Carney was identified at the scene.
He was interviewed for 40 minutes but released as police seek CCTV of the incident.
Carney is still considered a suspect.
The 22-year-old was sacked by the Raiders in July after a series of alcohol-related incidents, including urinating on a patron’s head in a hotel and running away from police after driving drunk.
He will play in the English Super League with Huddersfield next season.
