A woman accused of murdering her sister at their home in Sydney’s inner suburbs yesterday remains behind bars.

The 20-year-old will appear in court today after allegedly admitted to the murder over the phone to her parents yesterday.

George Carmo from police headquarters says after the alarm was raised they arrived at the Strathfield home to find 18-year-old Susan Worrel’s body.

“Ambulance officers could not revive an 18-year-old woman who was found at the premises.”

“Police arrested a 20-year-old woman at the home and she was conveyed to Burwood police station."

“A crime scene was established at the home and police seized a number of exhibits which were taken away for forensic examination.”
