A sandgroper has taken out the Australian national pole dancing championships, but not before some body and mind-bending performances.
With only the best of the best from around the country competing, it was always going to be tough a competition.
But it was the jaw-dropping routing of ‘Felix’ from West Australia, who won over the excited Enmore crowd and claimed the prize.
Felix had also won in 2006.
Sydney’s own Suzie Q took out runners-up spot.
She says pole-dancing is a great way for women to stay in shape.
“Gyms are very male-orientated,” she said.
“For women this is more fun, more feminine and it's sexy. Also some women are sick of the gym and want something different in their exercise routine.”
