Saddington retires as Carlton cuts five

Carlton have axed five players and announced the AFL retirement of key defender Jason Saddington.

The Blues have delisted Irishman Aisake O'Hailpin along with Cain Ackland, Luke Blackwell, Clinton Benjamin and Ryan Jackson.

They've also elevated Michael Jamison from the rookie list after he only missed one game this season.
