Roosters boss Canavan resigns

Sydney Roosters chief executive Brian Canavan has announced his shock resignation.

He will reportedly leave the club in a fortnight, with no replacement yet named to take over the role.

Canavan took over from former CEO Bernie Gurr on September 11, 2003, after acting as the Roosters’ football manager.
