Todd McKenney case adjourned after witness no-show

15/10/2008 3:22:00 AM.  | AAP
Radio host and Dancing With The Stars judge Todd McKenney will have a two-day hearing of drugs charges next month after a "crucial witness" was unable to attend court this week.

McKenney, who has been charged with possession of the drug gamma butyrolactone, or GHB, was not required to appear at Sydney's Central Local Court today when his case was briefly mentioned.

Police applied to vacate yesterday's scheduled hearing date because a witness was not available on October 15 and 16.

"She is a crucial witness in the proceedings as she was present when the alleged drug was allegedly found on the accused," NSW police said in an application tendered to the court.

The hearing has been adjourned until November 6 at Sydney's Downing Centre Local Court.
