Thousands of Andre Rieu fans have been forced to move off the grass and under cover at his Brisbane concert which has been delayed after severe thunderstorms lashed south east Queensland.
Damaging winds, large hailstones and severe lighting has forced Rieu fans to take refuge inside Suncorp stadium.
ABC reports people sitting in the low uncovered areas of the stadium and those on the field were being asked to evacuate the concert, which was due to start at 7pm (AEST).
One fan at the event said it was extremely crowded inside the corridors with people packed shoulder to shoulder.
It is unknown whether or not the concert will still go ahead.
Paramedics are in attendance at the stadium in the case of an emergency.
Energex is expecting a long night and has placed crews on standby for the wild weather.
