Alec's book, How to Talk to Girls stemmed from a pamphlet he wrote for his school's book fair in Castle Rock, Colorado.

"I never expected people to buy it like a regular book in a bookstore," Alec was quoted as saying in New York Post.
Alec says he gets his hot tips from observing what's going on in the playground – but his mother, Erin thinks his worldly knowledge comes from his love of reading.
Alec is currently impressing audiences on his national promotional tour, and says he already has future book ideas, such Alec's tips to talk to mums.
